Belemnite Fossil Sphere

Belemnite is an extinct group of marine cephalopods that lived millions of years ago during the Mesozoic era. Belemnites are often found as fossilized remnants of their internal skeletons, known as guards, which are hard, bullet-shaped structures that resemble a small bullet or pencil. These fossils are commonly found in sedimentary rocks and are sometimes polished and used as decorative items or amulets.

This sphere contains a collection of belemnite fossils embedded in matrix.
