Reiki is a an energy healing technique – the laying on of hands – that originated in Japan and spread to the western world. It assists in reducing stress, and promotes relaxation whilst sending healing energies to the parts of the body where it is required.

Amethyst is part of the quartz family, and the colours range from a lavender to dark purple. Some have white bands of quartz as well and are then named banded Amethyst.

Amethyst is a strong healing stone that also assist with mental clarity and well being. Amethyst is extremely beneficial to the mind, calming or stimulating as appropriate. It facilitates the decision making process, enhances memory and improves motivation. It also eases headaches and releases tension.
